An unincorporated area, sharing zip codes with Roslyn and Albertson, Searingtown has been one of the most desirable places to live on the Island for the past few decades due in large part to its affordable pricing and prime location. The area offers an array of single family home types: from high ranches to colonials to contemporaries, as well as a bevy of newer constructions. The hamlet is close to the Americana Manhasset as well as other popular regional shopping destinations and offers a quick commute to Manhattan.
While the hamlet itself has a small duck pond park, it is a very short distance from some of the best beaches on the South Shore as well as Christopher Morley Park, which has a swimming pool (turned ice rink in the winter), a golf course and plenty of room to relax and exercise.
